THE CURE ANNIVERSARY 1978-2018 LIVE IN HYDE PARK | 11TH OF JULY IN CINEMAS AROUND EUROPE

Last year in July The Cure performed live at Hyde Park, London, to celebrate their 40th band anniversary. This concert was filmed and directed by Tim Pope, who did most of the band's videos in the past. 8:00 pm on the 9th of July1978 The Cure performed for the first time in a smokey club named The Rocket in Crawley Sussex. 65 people had a lot of fun during the first live gig. 8:00 pm on the 7th of July 2018 The Cure entered the stage in Hyde Park. 65.000 fans celebrated the band: 135 minutes, 29 songs. Robert Smith: “This really was the perfect way to celebrate 40 years of the band. It was a fabulous day none of us will ever forget”.

The film will be shown exclusively on the 11th of July in selected cinemas around Europe.
